When considering a campground, consider your budget. Get a wide variety of rate quotes, from national state parks to military parks to privately owned RV and tent camp sites. Before making reservations, be sure to get brochures and a contract in writing. If you live near the campground, visit the campsite to ensure cleanliness and helpfulness of staff. Most campgrounds allow visitors to park RV vehicles, trailers, campers, popups, fifth wheel items, small and large campers on campsites. Or, you can just decide to pitch an outdoor tent the old fashioned way.
